Christian Bengs
University of California Berkeley

He received his PhD from the School of Chemistry at the University of Southampton, where he focused on long-lived nuclear spin states and the characterization of non-equilibrium spin states that deviate significantly from thermal equilibrium. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, working in the group of Ashok Ajoy. His research explores quantum sensing applications using hyperpolarized 13C-NV diamond sensors, as well as innovative areas of applied quantum learning algorithms.
