After a master’s degree in chemistry and philosophy, I conducted my PhD (2010-2013) in physical chemistry at the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research; I developed electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy into a platform for investigating stimuli-responsive soft matter. Subsequently, I moved to the Max Perutz Labs in Vienna, where I deepened my knowledge about the structural biology of proteins. In 2015, I joined the Laboratoire des Biomolécules at ENS Paris, where I accomplished my habilitation in hyperpolarization methods. I then launched my own independent research group at the University of Vienna in 2019. I became co-director of its NMR core facility (currently guiding 6 researchers and 3 technicians, including handicapped and diverse personnel).
