Frédérique Pourpoint
UCCS / Centrale Lille
Frédérique Pourpoint obtained her PhD at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris (France) in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Bonhomme and Gervais. Her research focused on the characterization of biomaterials (calcium phosphates) through solid-state NMR and ab in calculations. From 2009 to 2011, she held a post-doctoral position in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge (UK) working with Prof. Grey. She investigated the structural change of cathode materials during battery charge and discharge cycles by NMR. Following this, she was a postdoctoral-teaching assistant for one year (2011-2012) in the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille in France (now Centrale Lille) with Prof. Lafon and Amoureux to develop NMR methodology. She became an Assistant Professor in 2012 at the same institution, and she later obtained her habilitation in 2019. Her current research focuses on the characterization of metal-organic frameworks using solid-state NMR spectroscopy.
