Mateusz Urbańczyk

Dr. Mateusz Urbańczyk received his PhD (in 2017) from the Department of Chemistry, University of Warsaw, Poland. After PhD studies, he worked as a postdoc at the Center of New Technologies, University of Warsaw, Poland (2017-2018 and 2020-2021) and the Department of Science, University of Oulu, Finland. Currently, he works at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences as an associate professor. He is a PI of two National Science Centre grants. In 2024, he received the Ministry of Science scholarship for outstanding young scientists. 

His research interest revolves around novel fast techniques for Laplace-based NMR and its applications. Apart from his academic activities, he is also a co-founder of a spin-off company - Spektrino sp. z o.o.
